I have created a new database system using Access 2016. It has 4 forms and a number of tables, queries, reports, modules, macros etc. The db works well and all the facilities operate as I want them to operate. However, the app has been created b...been created by me. I am NOT a VBA programmer. I want someone to go through the existing code (about 30 pages A4) to make sure the code is correct and complete. I have sourced the code from my memory (using Access since 1992 - when it was launched), forums, MS Support, trial and error etc. I am NOT a trained programmer, but I get things to work. Hello Everyone!! I have two access tables with almost 3 million records in each table. First Table contain almost 8 fields (Company name, address, city, state, zip, phone, web, email) and second table contains only 2 fields (company name and category. Company name is common in both tables but place randomly at different positions, So what is need is to compare the "Company Name" of both tables and add a "category 2" field in first table. So what i need in final list category1, category2(should be picked from second table), business name, address, city, state, zip, phone, emails, website.... Happy bidding!!!

I have an excel file with over 7 million ... I also have a microsoft access file that has 23 million rows with "Property ID" in one column, and "Owner Name" in another column. I want to match and put the corresponding "Owner Name" from the access file, next to the correct excel row in the "Owner Name" column in the excel file. I think this is a simple task and can be accomplished by importing the excel data into access, then using Dlookup function, then exporting it back to excel. At the moment I email my Statement and Invoice separately from deactivation of my Reports all works fine, but now I want to email my invoices with each statement. ...read and write to an identical duplicate of each database on the second server AT THE SAME TIME as writing to the first primary server. At first, I thought this wouldn't be that difficult. Just set new database references pointing to the second server also, and add a few lines here and there. However, the more I think about it, the more mind-boggling it gets. What about references to currentDB, dlookup functions, linked tables, etc.?? Using the exact same Access mdb or VB app on EITHER server, and having it write to both servers simultaneously is not going to be very easy, I am finding out.
