I would like to increase the security of my Video on Demand server. The PHP script downloads videos and encodes the video to hls and serves the videos in multiple quality to end users. I need this server to include token authentication which will allow to secure video file URLs with a token and expiry date. The script needs to generate a secure hash using token validation (either timestamp validation, ip validation or both) where any requests without a valid token will be rejected.
