Unfortunately the engineer who wrote the attached plans is no longer available to make those changes. The most significant deviations I made are 1) I did not notch the poles where the trusses land and instead used carriage bolts through the truss and pole, 2) The truss ends meet the pole not at the bottom chord/rafter junction, but roughly 1 foot toward the center of the bottom chord, then carriage bolts were placed through both the bottom chord and rafter.
