I need to create a number of tools to be used as addons in NT8. My first task is to create a fairly simple strategy to which I can switch on and off with custom-buttons on the chart. I would like to display status text on the chart too (e.g. P&L for trade, overall P&L, Plus status of each filter/signal). I'm working on backtesting some trading strategies in Ninjatrader 8. I have a dll file with about 20 indicators inside that I need to be extracted from the dll and put into separate ZIP folders that I can install separately so I can use them in the strategy builder.
