264977 Uploaded Images Resizing WRONG

I need someone to help me fix a small problem with my uploaded images. the vertical ones get resized to odd dimensions and the landscape ones are squished too if they are too long. I believe the problem is in the image class script. I'd ideally like the images to be resized to 640x480 or 480x640. but proportionally resized not squished up. the problem is that it is inside a form that submits to a results page that shows an image preview and gives a code so that the end user can put the code into their listing. I don't want to mess that up.

I also have a little problem with apostrophes not being accepted by mySql database? I don't know why???

This is NOT design work, it would require working knowledge of Mysql, PHP, and an Image class script. PLEASE see attached photo before submitting bid, Maybe if you went to my site and tryed it out first that would be good. I just don't want any confusion about this. I've already been through that once.

Upon acceptance of your bid I'll give you all the passwords and whatever you need to fix it.
