Our Board is looking for a skilled professional to help execute fundraising campaigns for our non-profit arts organization. We create performance events and support local artist / musicians / performers through grants. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize social media and email marketing to raise awareness for the fundraising and sponsor campaigns - Organize in-person events to engage the audience and encourage donations - Call and solicit key fundraisers - Manage donor relationships and renewals Ideal Candidate: - Previous experience in fundraising, especially for a art related non-profit organization - Expertise in social media and email marketing - Strong organizational skills for fundraising and sponsor event planning Our website: [login to view URL] We are located in Metuchen NJ - a small but relatively affluent and vibrant community, which is becoming a hub for arts and culture in Middlesex County. MISSION Friends of Metuchen Arts (FOMA) is organized to present events and to offer programs that support the growth of art in all its forms, but not limited to, visual arts, music, theatre and dance in the Borough of Metuchen. "Friends of Metuchen Arts (FOMA) is a non-profit 501(c)3 Corporation that operates exclusively for arts and educational purposes." VISION FOMA will work to support the organization’s mission statement by expanding volunteer engagement, securing and distributing funds to organize events, and supporting artists and vendors with fair compensation. FOMA will strive to raising appreciation of the arts in the local and regional community and create inclusive and accessible programs.
