Native Azerbaijani Speakers Based in Azerbaijan Needed for Automatic Speech Recognition

Background
Speech recognition, or speech-to-text, is the ability of a machine or program to identify words spoken aloud and convert them into readable text. The target of our project is to provide high-quality training data that helps the machine to understand your language.
Responsibilities
1. Listen to the audio clip, trim it to keep the clearest part and transcribe the audio content
2. Participate in the training sessions according to the agenda and pass the qualification tests
3. Complete the daily output target and attend calibration / refresher sessions per project needs
4. Flag to the project manager if you spot any misalignment in project guideline understanding, discrepancies in production goals, etc
Requirements
1. Native in Azerbaijani, fluent in English (both spoken and written)
2. Available 20 hours per week with relatively fixed daily schedule
3. Up-to-date PC (Windows 10 or later) or Mac (Big Sur or later) with stable utility and internet connection
4. Degree and/or working experience in literature, translation, linguistics, teaching is a plus
5. Similar project experience in data collection, annotation, quality control, coordination is a plus
Additional Notes
1. The training usually takes 3 days and about 4 hours per day. A qualification test will be provided by the end of the training. Your training fee will be added to the nearest payment once you pass the test.
2. Planned leaves (including public holidays) need to be claimed a week in advance
3. A two-week notice by email is required for resignation
