Contest Brief

Able to render Canadian style 5 storeys residential building with an elevator, stairs, a roof garden that has a 350 square foot (SF) solarium. Canadian style frontage is wood & flagstone facade. Seeking samples of different building facades and floor layout renderings for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th floors that will be identical once chosen as described below and roof garden.
1. The residential building is 23 ft wide and 50 ft in length.
2. Each floor is 1150 SF
3. All floors have 9 foot ceilings
4. Each floor except for the 1st floor has a master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and good size closet, a common bathroom for the other two bedrooms with closets, kitchen with appliances - fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, stack washer & dryer and lots of cabinets
5. There is a 750 SF basement apartment with a 9-foot ceiling, one bedroom with good closet space, a smaller bedroom or office, with closet, full bathroom, full kitchen, stackable washer/dryer, good size storage room walkout from the basement to the street.
Enclosed is an internet sample of a 5 storey residential building with a car garage, elevator, Juliette balcony, and a brief description of each floor plan.

“It is not easy to hire international experts to work on local projects due mostly language barriers and cultural understandings. What is required in Canada is not fully understood the differences in temperature and government rules and regulations. We had about 85 submissions but Mr. Pedro Alonso stood out with his ability to read the project instructions, understand the sample photo and submitting the changes needed to meet local Canadian requirements. Other contest participants submitted their understand of the Canadian project but did not appreciate that our buildings are covered in 2 feet of snow during winter month. They did not respond to the changes required to meet the contest objections. Others just submitted one of their photos that had no correlation to the contest. Anyway, Pedro stuck with the changes requested and provided professional renderings that the client appreciated. I highly recommend Pedro Alonso for your architect, rendering needs. I will be using him in other project we have in Canada. ”

  Greetigns, Rizky - We have provided a step by step description of sizeds 23 x 50 ft building and 1150 SF per floor. The living space area in the basement is 700 SF, Ground floor is 700, 2nd floor to 5th floor is 1150 SF

  3. The height of the building is the same as our 5 story with garden roof rendering. You can use a copy of the rendering you are doing and put it on both sides of our building. I would suggest that you change the style a bit so it does not look exactly the same. But make the 3 buildings attractive to compliment our project..

1. The building is only 23 feet WIDE. The length or depth is 50 ft. So please show realistic rendering for the 1150 square feet (SF) width and length of the floor plan. Imagine if you were living on one of the floors with your wife/husband and two children.
2. There are buildings that are 5 storeys high on both sides of the building you are rendering so we do not need windows or balconies on the sides
3. We are only dealing with rendering the front, back and roof garden with a solarium for the building.
4. The garage size is 12 ft wide x 18 ft deep built into the building from the street level
5. Due to the basement, there are 4 steps up to the ground floor from the street.
6. The street stairs go to the ground floor entrance door which opens into a small foyer for the elevator & stairs. People will take the elevator to their floor or climb the stairs to their floor.
7. The living floor plan space on the ground floor is about 750 sq. ft. with 3 rooms, bathroom, kitchen
