Contest Brief

Please do a phonetic (sound) translation of the foreign songs listed below into English. You don’t need to know the foreign language, all you have to do is translate the foreign “sounds” into English so the songs sounds the same/similar in English as in the original.

Successful freelancers will get a lot more songs to translate in the future.

As part of your entry for each song please submit:
- A word document with your lyrics
- A recording of you singing your lyrics with the original version of the song in the background (ideally mp3, mp4 or wav)
- A recording with the instrumental version of the song in the background.
- A recording of you singing the lyrics without any music

Don’t worry. You don’t have to be a good singer, but I need to hear you sing the English version of the song to be able to assess if the English version flows nicely, like the original.

Please submit just one song first so I can give you feedback before you do too much work.
Also, there can be several winners.

As an example of what to do, please see a phonetic translation of the song "Szukam" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5JwGZlMQkvQ. I attach a pdf with lyrics, a recording with the original song in the background, a recording with the instrumental version in the background and a recording of just vocal.
