I wrote a batch file that opens two programs, asks a "choice" question and runs the appropriate shortcut based on the answer, and then displays a series of png and animated gif images at a specific window position to provide instructions to the user. I'd prefer a Windows GUI for the "choice" question. I also need to add another question and branch for it. I've been using Irfanview to display the images but it cannot control the position of animated gifs. There are some other small refinements that I suspect could easily be handled by Autoit instead of what I'm using (e.g., I use Zmover to position the program windows, and again IT cannot control the position of animated gifs!). Windows XP is the OS this project will need to run on.
What I need is a desktop alias for mac osx that appears as a specific icon on the desktop. When clicked this alias will take a user to a website. I will supply the icon and the url once the candidate has been accepted. My first thought on this was to create a bash script. This bash script needs to wget the icon, save it to their filesystem. then create a shortcut on the desktop using the icon it just downloaded. If you have a better option, let me know. I'm open to suggestions. Please ask any questions you may have if you need clarification.

Hey, I need a relatively simple wordpress shortcut plugin created. There are two functions. 1.
