There is an existing Android app, built in JAVA, which has not been maintained for more than a year. And because of that there are a couple of deprecated Android APIs which are still in the app and need to be worked upon. One such deprecated API is GoogleApiClient, due to which the location search is not working in our app(as shown in the screenshot). For now we want this to be replaced with the new and supported GoogleApi API. This essentially is a change in the fragment where all the code is written, hence please quote accordingly. If we are satisfied with the work, we would want to have longer association as this app would need more maintenance and some feature additions as well.

Hello everyone, I have a project which hears changes in the state of the phone with the class PhoneStateListener and also makes use of GoogleApiClient to get the precise location. All data is sent by REST web service every time it enters a method of the PhoneStateListener class. The application works in the background and starts when the computer is turned on, in addition if the application does not find Internet saves the data in local SQLite database and sends them in a later attempt. So far it works fine but it stops working for time lapses. The job would be to make the call to the service work properly and not lose data as the follow-up must be constant.

My application sends data via REST (location, network states) I require you to create a class service for consumption by GoogleAPIClient to get the location data.
