The Masidra case study is about the development of a database supported CAD program for a modulated building system. All graphics designs, icons or logo’s will be delivered to the programmers. The software will be called MODU-CAD. The programmers will give the full rights and intellectual property’s to the contractor. The final application will be delivered in source code on CD or DVD and a master CD for reproduction. All provided information is strictly confidential. Codename Masidra: Massive interactive drawing application. Stand alone 3DCAD program that designs specific walls and floors. Wall consist out 1,2m elements and a remaining smaller piece if needed. The 1.2m elements are created out of steelwire lattices and has an outside and inside insulation from 1 to 8cm and in between a concrete filling. In the walls there can be openings or doors with or without latticesupport but never with insulation. We need to be able to draw the walls with openings and floors.
