I would like to have an ANSYS APDL code for creating a 3D non-reflecting solid boundary (region). Please find attached how this region is created, and what are the advantage of each and disadvantages. I will be more specific on how it is to be created: -The region will be made up of many bonded layers each would gradually dampen the elastic waves in the medium neighboring the region. -The region (made up of layers) properties will match the neighboring material properties, so the damping will not be sudden The task is to write a small ANSYS APDL code for this non reflecting region since this project would be a seed for other projects...the region suggested shape will be a hemisphere as shown to place things within it The project is to be tested with a simple line crack placed in the media and a surface point force (Gauss point force) generating the wave. ====== Please find attachments 1) On the comparison of absorbing regions methods 2) Figure of suggested shape of the region The project is a seed for other projects I highly prefer to rehire the same freelancer to continue on other related projects.

I am a Master's degree holder from one of the top US universities (Texas A&M) in finite element analysis field. During my previous employment with Virginia Tech University, I have • Implemented mathematical models of progressive damage and failure in laminated transparent armor and compared the results with experimental data • Modeled survivability of Multifunctional Laminated Polymeric Composites using LSDyna • Used LSDyna to simulate impact of a steel sphere on three-layered and five-layered polymeric laminates, without considering the damage induced in the composite Live in USA but currently unemployed because of work permit issues. I am willing to work extended hours to get your project completed on time. Please ignore the amounts in the bid as they won't allow me to enter 0 for the bid. Not charging any money but a future recommendation from you based on my work quality. I appreciate your time and consideration. I would be happy to have a chat and understand your requirements better and discuss our engagement.
