Hi, I need help with developing a web-based program that allows users to login under a profile, then gives them a choice of a set of different topic sections. Once the user has decided on a section, he is given a set of random example sentence with grammatical bits missing, the solution has to be chosen from a drop-down list within the sentence. Once the user submits the solution, he gets feedback on what is wrong and is given a second chance to reattempt the question, if the solution is still wrong the user gets the right solution.
Everything should be written in some form of java, using servlets, jsp etc. The users solutions should be logged in a sql database and the webpage should be adaptive to pick on the problem areas of the user, giving him feedback on how many questions were wrong and what percentage were right.
The program should target the users problem areas and next time he logs on give him a history of his progress.
The questions/sentences should be randomly created through an input file, consisting of a list of subjects, verbs, nouns, articles, adjectives, etc., so when revisiting the same section the questions aren't identical to previous ones. This part is already partially working for me.
It all needs to be server side based, no javascript please. But open to suggestions, like php, etc.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. This includes detailed comments to most lines of the source code.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
