I would like to develop a gift registry website similar to Pinterest in functionality. It will essentially allow users to create an account, log in, and save a variety of items from any online shop on the internet to a Wish List. Would be good to have multiple wish lists the way Pinterest has multiple boards, and allow the user to save a list description. This Wish List would then be viewable either publicly or via password protection (user's choice). Anyone who views the wish list would be able to select a gift and mark it as purchased, without having to create an account or log in, in a similar way to leaving a comment on a blog post. They should be able to leave a name and comment. I would also like the functionality for viewers to donate to a Paypal account - so they can either provide money for the item on the wish list, or purchase it online, and let the List owner know that it has been purchased. When the item has been marked as purchased, it should be greyed out or similar so other viewers know it is purchased. I am open to what sort of back-end admin/CMS is used.
