Freelance Editing/Research Assistance - UK

Technomic is a leading American information service provider serving the foodservice and associated industries. We are currently seeking a freelancer to assist with quarterly UK consumer research studies. Required Experience: Responsibilities: •Assist the research manager throughout the study process including: ◦Providing insight into specific research topics based on familiarity with UK foodservice industry, culture and lifestyle ◦Look over and provide recommendations to adjust consumer surveys to fit the UK market ◦Serve as a resource for questions regarding the UK consumer and foodservice market that arise throughout the process •Edit our Final UK report deliverables for grammar, style, content, etc. •Each quarterly project will entail approximately 12 hours of work ◦Roughly 4 hours on the front end working with the project manager ◦Roughly 8 hours for the final edit (an approx. 100 slide PPT) Qualifications: •Must live in the UK/ be familiar with UK culture, lifestyle and foodservice market •Strong editorial skills •Background in the foodservice/hospitality industry strongly preferred •Background in market or consumer research strongly preferred •Strong skills in Excel and PPT
