Wordpress portfolio setup

I need a photo album/portfolio set up in wordpress, to function in a Woo Canvas subtheme. Don't talk to me about the Woo portfolio page, it doesn't work. I need a page to which I can add albums, and when you open the albums you get a static photo gallery (not a slider or slideshow, just a grid of images that can be downloaded). This is a press page, so there will be some print quality hi-res images to download from the page. I've already used a NextGen gallery set to a slideshow, and as far as I know you can't use another NextGen gallery as a static gallery in the same site. So I need some creative solutions. I'm talking about four galleries, maybe 30 images in total. I should be simple, but I can't get anything to work, and I need it done in 48 hours or less. Preferably less.
