First of all I am only looking for a programmer in the South West of England (Bristol if possible). We have a web2print solution using a mysql db. We will receive a periodic xml file to from online server to update a local mysql db. The local db will be interrogated by a workflow system and decide the path of incoming print files. A tracking tool needs to be written which can update local db and then inturn send xml file to online mysql db for stutus updates. Task is to setup local mysql db, setup xml hotfolder to update same. Write small barcode scanning program to change status on local db. Then setup periodic updates to online db.
