XML to Tab Delimeted File

Script and HTML Form needed to run on unix webserver. Perl or PHP preferred. Simple Form should ask for the URL for the XML Feed and a submit button. The script should go get the URL and produce a file in the subdirectory /output/ and then produce a confirmation web page with a link to download the output. Data File Specification: A single TAB between each field. No trailing Tabs on a line. Header Record: Each of the field names below, tabs between. Data Records Take each product from the XML file (URL to be supplied, but sample attached) File Mapping Flat File XML Fields ------------------ -------------------- product_url name description category image_url price instock "Y" (no quotes) shipping offer_id Possible Future development with this too. Any perl libaries used need to be advised. FTP access to server can be given, but no unix access. Happy for development to take place on your own machine before installation on my box. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
