Life-cycle Assessment Fruit Production; Environmental modelling

I'm working on an LCA project / report on Apple production and will provide whatever sources and info I have. Part 1 is completed already (will provide a copy) but I need help with Part 2 below. ********** PART 1 (this part is already completed) ********** Write a report that outlines the goal and scope of the LCA study, provides a flow diagram for the product/service, documents major data needs through a data collection sheet, and provides a preliminary list of activity levels and/or emission factors. ********** PART 2 ********** Develop a LCA model in a spreadsheet program based on the work conducted in Part 1 of the assignment. You will report LCA results and interpret them in a report. You will also make recommendations to relevant decision-makers (e.g., policy makers or business/industry organizations) on how to conduct a consequential life cycle analysis on the product, as well as provide some insights into life cycle management issues. Based on Part 1 of this assignment, develop an Excel-based model for your product. I'm thinking of using the GHGenius as a template for the model ([login to view URL]). I need an input tab for data collection (to be used to determine activity levels), an emission factor tab, with sources/documentation of that data, and show calculations relating data to functional unit and the final impact results and data quality assessment. -- Components of the Report-- 3.0 Life Cycle Impact Assessment (2 to 4 pages) Present and describe the results from the model in appropriate format 4.0 Life Cycle Interpretation (2 to 4 pages) Provide sensitivity analysis and recommendations, limitations, etc. as appropriate 5.0 Recommendations to Policy and/or Decision-Makers (1 to 2 pages for each of the points below) Provide some guidance on why CLCA is important for Apple production, and the types of indirect impacts that might occur if the product you analyzed were to be regulated (Consequential life cycle assessment considerations) Show the boundaries of a CLCA for the product Provide some recommendations on Life Cycle Management issues for the product (either for the manufacturer, the industry, or government, depending on your audience). Again, you should reference literature as appropriate and include concepts from the material in Module 7. Along with the report, submit your model in a spreadsheet program.
