Hello! Did you connect to your old instance by ssh with key-based authentication and lost that key? if yes, do you know what ssh access can be restored (in passwords-based mode, for example)? To do so you (or me) have to create one more Linux instance, plugin old instance's virtual hard disk to new instance and change ssh daemon's settings and Unix passwords. After this operation new instance can be stopped. And virtual disk can be returned to production instance.
