Email Server Problems sending

Hi All, I run mailenable on a private server and there are some issues sending to certain addresses (socket error, rejected) - I can send to gmail, hotmail no problem but for some reason a few emails we send are either not arriving or have this error and it needs fixing. As far as I can tell, all the settings are correct so I need someone to tell me what to do in order to fix this. Thanks
