Project Background and Description Charlotte Mothers of Multiples (CMOMs) provides valuable support services to families with multiple birth children in order to help them thrive, not just survive. Having identified a building suitable to support the Charlotte community and its children, CMOMs now seeks funding to purchase of the building. 2. Project Scope The scope will include writing and delivery of a formatted (electronic) grant proposal, advice on presentation of the business/project plan and identification of gaps in information that will need to be completed. Every effort will be made to ensure information gaps are filled during the grant writing process, based on the information provided by CMOMs. Assistance will be provided in determining relevant financial information and presentation, if required. 3. Deliverables Following an interview with you to understand your organisation, its vision of the future, the project and granting body the deliverables will be provided as word based content (in the relevant grant application) and where appropriate pictures for submission by the CMOMs to the funding organization. 4. Specific Exclusions from Scope The services do not cover the sourcing of possible grant providers, verification of financials or inclusion of information provided after submission of the final report to CMOMs. 5. First, I have a question. Is C.M.O.M. an official 501(c)(3) non-profit? If so, then I'm positive I can write the grant(s) you'll need to get the funding necessary to help the underprivileged families in your area. Once you choose me to write the grant, I will discuss what kind of projects the C.M.O.M. has planned, because what gets an organization funding are carefully organized projects that have very specific funding needs. I will need to speak/meet directly with the people who will be responsible for the projects implementation, oversight, and evaluation. If you already have some preliminary budgets drawn-up, even better. Otherwise, that is also something I will create along with the actual grant. I find working with private foundations and corporations to be far easier than applying through government funders. They offer less per grant, but, depending on the C.M.O.M.'s funding needs, any amount should achievable, if not from one source, then from a combination of sources. I have written several grants for The Independent Cancer Research Foundation, and I have helped with grant research for several other local non-profits in my area. I know where to look for both state and national grants, and I am very detail oriented when it comes to meeting deadlines and presenting finished materials.
