My apologies that the categories are not a perfect fit for this project. I need a Wise Install script created. It needs to work in Wise Installation System 9. The install is to create a folder under program files and install an excel workbook there. Next, it is to add to the list of programs visible via Start Menu, Programs a link to open the workbook. The same link needs to be also added to the Desktop. The link should be the following: full path to the excel exe, the full path to the workbook, and a startup switch. For example: "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\[login to view URL]" "C:\Program Files\Information Assistant\Information [login to view URL]" /automation
Users may have Excel 97 to Excel 2003, and may have done custom installs, so the path to the exe will have to be determined by the install based on the user's setup. Users may have multiple versions of Excel installed, and the link should be to the one they use for starting Excel workbooks.
I have Wise Install 9 and will then make minor modifications to the script.
