Hi, I have a large form with various boxes, inputs, etc. I would like to add a button so that when clicked, can reset all of the form variables. This is different from the default html reset which only resets an element of you changed it. The one I am describing should reset the elemenst even when the page was loaded with it. There are several examples of code that does this on the web. For example, see [login to view URL] This code works fine and is almost complete. I would like something very similar to this with the following changes: 1) Make it work on all modern browsers. For example, in IE, it does not seem to work. Perhaps in Safari, etc. too? 2) Make it work with JQuery version 1.6.3. 3) The code above puts the js in a separate file. Maybe you can make it so I can include it within the page itself?

Hey. My name is Joe. From what I understand, you needed a function that would perhaps take a form id as a parameter and reset all the input elements in it. My javascript function relied on DOM features that are supported in all the major browsers and thus be able run in all of them. Since the function is pure javascript, it should be compatible with JQuery. In addition, all you have to do is to attach the function to the reset button onclick event handler and it is good to go. Lastly, the function can be included inline or via an imported script. Thanks and I hope to hear from you.
