I need to make this excel roster spreadsheet automatically deduct 30 mins if the shift length is 5 hours or more. It currently deducts the 30 mins for some shifts that are 4.5 hours, but not all. It depends on the start/end time and i cant find out why the formula behaves differently for different times of day. This total shift time is then used to calculate a total number of hours for that line at the end of the week. The cells that do the calculating are hidden, i have left a section unhidden and highlighted so you can see what formulas are being used.
