I have a project with two parts that are very similar. The first part of the project has 34 Excel Files that need to be reformatted and then combined and the second project has 100 Excel files that need to be reformatted and then combined. I have attached sample files for review.
Part #1 Instructions (SpeakerBureaus .xls Files):
1) Open the .xls file
2) VERY IMPORTANT - Select all of the text by clicking on the box right above the "1" for the first row and to the left of the "A" for the first column. There is a little triangle in that box. Next click on "Format" on the menu, then while on the "Number" tab (the first tab) select "text" from the category list and click OK. It souds like a lot but it is a very quick step.
3) VERY IMPORTANT - Scan all the way down while checking the State column and make sure the state is not missing. If it is missing, fill in the missing state columns with the same state from the other records. All of the states should be the same.
4) Save the file and close. Repeat these steps on the next file in project #1.
5) Once all individual files have been completed, combine the files into one big file and name it [login to view URL]
6) Send me an email with a zip file that contains the combined file and the 34 reformatted files.
Project #2 Instructions (Chamber of Commerce .xls Files):
1) Open the .xls file
2) VERY IMPORTANT - Select all of the text by clicking on the box right above the "1" for the first row and to the left of the "A" for the first column. There is a little triangle in that box. 4) Save the file and close. Repeat these steps on the next file in project #2.
5) Once all individual files have been completed, combine the files into one big file and name it [login to view URL]
6) Send me an email with a zip file that contains the combined file and the 100 reformatted files.
Pre-Qualify Step (Should take less than 2 minutes):
In order to be considered, please combine the two sample files using instructions for part #2. Then post your results so we can confirm that you have completed the work properly before we award the project to you. It is VERY important that all steps are followed and we will check the work and payment will only be made if the steps are followed exactly.
Seems like a simple straight forward job. I have time to fulfil the task today.
I did the sample files and am ready to continue right away!
Hope to hear from you soonest.
