I noticed that you say you need someone located in the UK; however, I am confident that the technology can be demonstrated over a video Skype. As much as I would like to come over again (I used to work for a US subsidiary of an Oxfordshire based tech company), that wouldn't be convenient or cost effective. Having Gerbers is OK, as Altium will import them. However, if you have the prior designer's CAD files they will import better and there is less chance of something going amiss in the changes.
