Excel VBA - API request & parsing JSON response

I need to retrieve sales tax rates via API in an Excel workbook. Objectives: 1) Use API Key + user inputs to request tax rate information for either an address or a zip code 2) Check for internet connectivity. In the event the user is not connected to the internet, end the procedure and alert the user that they are not connected to the internet. 3) Record full response with all available details in a table in a 'Response' sheet. This table/sheet should be cleared and overwritten with each request. This sheet will be hidden, I just want to preserve the detail for troubleshooting between requests. 4) Record the Total tax rate in a corresponding cell on the 'Inputs' sheet 5) Allow for possibility of accommodating more than two rate types (other than Total) in the response. For example, State + City + Special + X + Y + Z = Total 6) Include appropriate error handling and error notifications to the user.
