Project Description

Our non-profit organization (Junior Achievement of East Tennessee, Inc.) hosts an annual event called the JA Stock Market Challenge. We are looking for a sharp looking logo that can be used on all types of promotional materials, newspaper advertisements and on some type of event give-a-way. Something stock market/ investment themed but something that incorporates our organization name and possible a tagline about the event.

Created to look and feel like Wall Street, the Stock Market Challenge is an advanced high-tech stock market simulation where teams compete in a virtual world to see who will amass the highest net worth by the end of the investing period. The event is fast paced, with teams competing through sixty trading days in one hour or a new trading day every minute.

The game is simple. Local organizations submit teams of 4 people. The teams are given an account with $1,000,000 of “play money” to compete against each other by trading in a simulated Stock market environment. A 60 day trading period is compressed into an hour – a new day begins every minute. This fast atmosphere ensures the trading is urgent, and the competition is tense! Teams buy shares in fictitious “mock stock” utilizing their bank account. Throughout the evening, floor traders enter each team trade into a handheld tablet and the information is immediately transferred to the main system by wireless capabilities. The goal is to accumulate the highest net worth prior to the close of trading.

Need a logo specifically but it would be nice if there was some type of flyer template that included our logo that we could put our information into. We like the look of a circular logo and would like to keep it basic colors for easy printing (probably like Black/ White/ Green). Again something sharp looking would
