Android Play Store Icon

I need an icon designed that will be used for an application in the Google Play Store. The icon will need to be eye catching and professional looking. The design will capture the essence of the 1990-1999 period of mainstream western culture, while still having a modern feel. The minimum dimensions of the icon must be 512x512, however take into account that the icon will often get heavily scaled down.
