459892 Implement in-place-editing for Ruby on Rails backend

I have a website built in Ruby on Rails 1.2.3 which has a catalog backend with product management. Currently there is a list of items with item name, price, etc. but we would like to add the ability to edit the item attributes in a table view instead of needing to go to each product's edit page to make changes.
