I am looking to make life a little easier by maintaining and tracking inventory of supplies and assets. To track quantities by receipt or issue of inventory and setting dates to reorder upon a set number. These categories would need to be linked to record vendors and link web pages points of contact and invoices scanned and retained per contact or asset/inventory item. I have attached a powe point presentation with the look and data with what entry items I need to input, basicall this can be found on the MS Access web page.
Inventory with ability to track totals when issued or upon reciept of items
Asset inventory by company, customer ect

One of the most important is to remember when and how much of certain supplies are to be reordered and how much they will cost i.e. printing services or toner and ink cartridges to order by quarter, cost, quantities, and by division in addition to the ability to create additional types of lists/data/reminders ect. I do need to be able to import via word or excel if possible also the contacts i input i would like to be able to use outlook to send emails. attached is a .ppt of what i would like to have my database feel and look with the functions indicated. if you should have any questions please let me know.
The only other thing i need it to be able to make lists of action items, like a tickler from assets and inventory and i would like to be able to assign a date and quantity level to reorder from. From these lists/ticklers i create the date should act and quantity level should act like an alarm or reminder. i should also be able to view by radio button for current lists by category i create and by due date.
