Hi, Depending on capabilities of your web server- chat can be implemented in two ways: 1. via opening TCP port on server dedicated for chat 2. via HTTP Also- since chat works in real-time- depending on number of users you want to consider buying dedicated or virtual server. (things can get painfully slow on higher number of users). Initial milestone is to be created and released on start of project (30%). If you have any questions please feel free to ask. hi, i have excellent android chat framework include voice communication. i already developed voice chat project on android. Server is windows, database is mysql. Database engine can be changed to other db engine. Windows Server support high performance of communication framework, called IOCP(I/O Completion Port). I have many know-hows about iocp. Also I have implemented iocp using c++. If you want change server, I can implement that usign linux epoll. If you give me this project, I can give you perfect solution. Thank you.
