Enhance mini games and eCommerce capabilities of an existing iOS application

Sseeking to hire an iOS developer to work on an existing social/gamified eCommerce app for 1 month, with potential to grow to a longer term arrangement. Initial project activities surround two core areas to enhance our existing app: - Enhancing the apps native eCommerce capabilities. This involves migrating the current webview offloaded product page/cart/checkout experience to native functionality with our Magento backed eCommerce store using their existing APIs (with integration support from an existing backend/API developer). - Adding new mini games that create a fun, entertaining and social layer on top of our existing app. Sought Technical Skills & Experience: 3+ years of iOS development experience Prior experience in an eCommerce setting highly desirable Prior experience with basic game development desirable Deep applied knowledge of Objective-C and Cocoa Touch Experience in memory management and ARC, debugging, profiling, unit testing, continuous integration, provisioning, distributing and submission to the App Store Passion for writing clean code, object oriented code, leveraging design patterns and programming paradigms whilst being open to learning new ones Experience working with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics Experience with third-party libraries and APIs, including social frameworks Sound understanding of networking, web service integration (SOAP, XML), local data caching and multitasking on iOS Experience with source control systems (Git preferable) Ability to work well with a team including supporting backend developers to integrate new capabilities
