Please note that there are 2 parts to this project. Serious coders only.
Part 1:
Scenario:
Tara Store Product List Page ??" Passing Form Field Data to a Web Page
The project manager has asked you to create a sample Web site that displays Tara Store’s products. Create a form that displays five product images, along with their product name, price, and product number. Add a Submit button that is labeled “Add to My Cart?? below each of the products. Display the quantity ordered as a single text box. You can add additional form fields and ASP.NET controls as needed.
When the visitor clicks the Submit button, calculate the price by using the formula: quantity multiplied by the cost of the item. Display the total cost to the user. Save the pages as Ch3Case2.aspx.
Hint: On each button click, you will calculate the total cost and change the Text property of a Label control to the total cost as shown below.
Private Sub btn512_Click (ByVal sender As [login to view URL], ByVal e As [login to view URL]) Handles [login to view URL]
Dim Cost As Double
Cost = [login to view URL]([login to view URL]) * [login to view URL]([login to view URL])
[login to view URL] = [login to view URL]("c")
## Deliverables
Continued from above...
End Sub
The variable, btn512, refers to the button for item #512. The variable, lblPrice512, refers to the label that displays the price for item #512 (For our problem, the cost of item #512 is $65.00). The variable, txtQuantity, refers to the textbox for the number of purchased items. The variable, lblOrder, displays the cost of our purchase. [login to view URL]("c") converts Cost to the currency format.
