Need someone to build a website (ASP/ASP.Net) with a database (SQL Server) to run on Windows2000 server. Our webmaster would need to have the ability to create a hierarchy of subjects, topics and sub-topics. However, one sub-topic may be related to many topics and one topic may also be related to many subjects. The website should allow users to a- upload documents (in any electronic format) as files, b- associate these documents with multiple subjects, topics, and sub-topics c- browse documents by subject, topic and sub-topic d- select documents into one or more personal libraries e- submit comments and ratings on documents submitted by others Each of the above functions should be available thru a separate webpage and webmaster should be able to define which user is allowed access to which page. Access to documents should only be thru the website but I think documents should not be stored in the database but in some kind of file/directory structure on disk. Database should only serve as an index. Quality of source code is very important - along with your bid, please include samples of source code you have developed in recent past ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
