I need a C++ Date and Time class with all the bells and whistles. I know this has been done a hundred times, so I expect the winning bid to be fairly low. I can customize it if it isn't exactly what I need. It should work with Windows in that it should be able to deal with time_t and the like, but not require MFC or .NET. It should be in C++. It should handle internationalization and localization issues. It should handle GMT +/- type calculations. It should be able to do date and time mathematics, like for computing age from a birthdate type stuff. Leap year, day of the week computation, all that kind of stuff is helpful. Extra points if it handles custom formats, like for constructing strings to write to binary files and such. DICOM, HL7, ASN.1, XML, ANSI, strftime compatibility get EXTRA EXTRA Credit. Also extra points if you can get it done really fast. (As in, you already have it done would be very good. :-) Should include "time.h" and must be able to get the current time/date of course. Post your header file if you have one already. No GNU, GPL, LGPL or anything like that, and yes, I've seen the code on codeProject, but I think it uses MFC. -Kelly
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
