I need a fairly simple "proof of concept" application done. You may use VC++ or Delphi. The application will display an icon in the system tray.
This must be a Win32 executable. It must monitor all Internet Explorer windows, whether they are running in plain-vanilla IE or an application like NetCaptor, AOL's browser, or other IE-based browser. When a user is about to submit a password, the application must launch a message box, asking the user if they would like to save the password to a file. If the user selects "yes", then the password, all other form data, and the location of the web site is saved to a text file.
You may not use "browser helper objects" or toolbars to complete this project. You must respond to standard DWebBrowserEvents2 events like BeforeNavigate2. No proxies allowed.
This application must work with all Internet Explorer versions 5.0+ on Windows 95, 98, NT4, ME, 2000, and XP.
For a much more complex application that monitors form/password submittions, see RoboForm.
Please ask any questions in a PMB.
