Need help on a PHP project

I have a PHP script that I bought on Ebay and I cannot figure out a problem with it. Whats happening id the refferal section is not working, this is a traffic exchange script, by the way. When refferals log on using the refferal link it is not posting to the mySQL DB. It is supposed to add to a section where the person that reffered the user and then the refferer get credits based on the new users activity. I have attached the code it is in PHP/msSQL the code is a mess and hard to read. This is also a very low budget project. I believe this would be a farely easy debug project if you can read the code. If you have any other questions please ask.
