I need some advices and guidelines on how to set up an online shop. I own a server(Fedora 6 OS with Apache) and I'm ready to build my website. My question is, what kind of development tools(programming languages) that are commonly used to set up the features below? Are there any other options available? What are the merits and demerits of these options?
(1) shopping cart
(2) email system(eg email order notification)
(3) credit card processing
(4) product catalog
(5) product search
(6) user registration
(7) order processing
