The object of the site is to to display all the specials in New Zealand, on one website. The site is up and running, but has not been launched in the new form (mysql/php) as the last coder did not complete the site. I am looking for someone who can understand english, and who can finish the site. Not just say that they can. I have already accepted 4 bids, but only one coder got close to getting the job done. The site is for small to medium sized businesses to post their specials and classified ads, but is not an online gateway. The site is merely to supply information on specials/classifieds for businesses, and for sale items for consumers. At a later stage, i envisage the site will be able to handle sales for registered businesses. Consumers should also be able to post items for sale. I would like to include tables for real estate, auto's resume's, and a bulletin board where visitors can post items, much the same way that they can post a note at the local supermarket. Businesses that want to post specials can also post their normal products in the classifieds section, and have them displayed below their specials. Visitors will be able to search for products by suburb, product, store or category, and will also be able to register and receive their chosen specials by email whenever they come up. Specials/Classifieds should show start/finish dates, the normal and special prices, and/or a special offer (eg. buy 3 get 1 free). Sellers can post up to 100 specials with pics, for 3 months free, after which they will pay $5 a week to post. The system will automatically terminate their items at the end date. Sellers will receive email reminders prompting them to post their next specials. Sellers will also be rated by shoppers/consumers according to how shoppers enjoyed shopping there. I need a coder to modify the mysql DB, and the php pages to make the site ROCK! I know that my budget is tight, but simply cannot afford anymore than this. ## Deliverables Although the site has functioning database and php pages, there are a number of features that are not working properly. I would like the accepted coder to consider updating features and functions. ADMIN The admin should allow me to designate free or complimentary accounts. Add categories & sub-categories, Add/change payment system Add/delete/change towns, suburbs or regions plus all other normal admin functionality. SELLERS All sellers can post specials on the site for 3 months - FREE!! Sellers must register in order to post specials/classifieds. Casual sellers can post their specials on a week by week basis. Regular sellers, can post their classifieds for $5 a month, and $2.50 for every week (or part thereof) that they post specials. Sellers can list as many items as they want in the classifieds section and pay a flat fee of $5.00 a month - the aim is to have sellers use the site as their own, rather than creating their own site. Sellers will be rated by consumers on a 0 - 5 rating. sellers can select to deliver or even accept mail orders via the site Sellers will upload an image of their store for their page/s. REGISTRATION All sellers and consumers who want to post items on the site must register Sellers must supply a physical address and phone number. Cellphone, website, email, delivery, and mail order are optional. Email is sent to registrants to confirm their registration CONSUMERS Register with name, address, email, user name, but only their email address and suburb show on their posts. Can post their CV or resume so potential employers can check them out Agree to receive email newsletters and updates Can post items for sale/or offer can be rated by other users Consumers do not pay to use the site SPECIALS Listed on a weekly (or part of) basis If there is a special offer instead of a special, it will be reflected in the users' pages Specials can run for as long as a user wants, but is paid for on a weekly basis (after the initial 3 free months) They must be genuine specials and not an overpriced item reduced to fall into the specials' category A user can list as many specials as they want. Specials should (where possible)include pics. Specials displayed will allow multiple pics with a full size click on each pic PIC BOXES On the index pages, there are pic boxes. These can be bought for a fee, allowing the buyer to have an item displayed within a box. Where there are not enough picbox buyers, the system should be able to automatically post items into these boxes to maintain the visual appeal of the site.
