Online portal for users - using PHP, MySQL, designing

Hi, We need to make an online portal onto which users can login in (create login if needed), access their information, and update/delete info., etc. Should look like just another social networking site, however our purpose is not to make a social networking site. More details about the plan will be shared post selection. NOTE: The programmer will need to work with us, and understand the requirements on need basis as we will need to tune up many things on the portal once it becomes live on Internet. Looking for someone who has worked on such web portals (both design and programming). Apply only if you can share your sample work. Basis the work quality, we might give an opportunity for future portal maintenance as well (i.e. more chance to earn later). Regards
