This is regarding the creation of a web-based project to enhance their ability to develop interview related presentation materials. Additionally, this project encompasses a front-end site redesign and user back-end. The key elements of the site are considered to be the following 1) Professional redesign a. Visual appearance is critical, as the primary user base will be job seekers. b. Redesign will be broken into three main sections i. Front-end (home-page with sub-page design) ii. User backend (Presentation Design studio, user profile pages) iii. PDF/PPT redesign to ensure that final product is professional and world class. 2) Content Management System and eCommerce Solution a. The site must be able to have content that can be easily updated. The content-rich site will become a destination for job seekers who desire information on how to improve their interview. b. The eCommerce component will allow visitors to signup and pay for time-defined services. The service will be discussed below, but generally, access to critical functionality on the site will be limited to paying visitors. The eCommerce solution should allow for promotion codes, newsletter blasts, and order management. 3) PowerPoint/PDF Presentation Builder a. The primary service of the site will be the creation of an interview presentation, which will be developed by walking the user through a series of logical and simple to follow steps. b. The development of the presentation will rely on the latest drag-and-drop web technology, making it feel professional and easy to use. c. The presentation will have two outputs, a PDF or a PowerPoint presentation. The user may pay for an added service of having the PDF printed by a preferred vendor who will also ship the final product to the user. d. As part of the design service, professional looking templates will be developed for both the PowerPoint presentation and PDF document.
