MISSION: helping artists to make their dream come true by receiving donations from their fans; it is called "crowd fundraising" GROSSO MODO: a site with all the same functions of [login to view URL] or [login to view URL] SPECIFIC DESIGN ELEMENTS IN MIND: should be very easy to read and to navigate; a menu at the top with, above all: A) a link/page for the artists to post their project on the website (they must create like a profile giving all information about their project: photo(s), or/and presentation-video, amount pledged, deadline, links to their other networks as facebook, myspace etc... B) a link/page for the fans/supporters to browse all the projects and give money to the creator of their choice. On the side of the home page (left or right?), there should be a list of links (navigator) for looking at each different categorie of projects availables (i.e. music, movies, books, etc) and maybe different cities... There should be a few more links of course, like "how it works", "tips for a successful campaign" Also "featured project(s)" or/and "most popular project(s) appearing on the home page (with picture linking to the related artist) There will be also a payment system integrated for the donations, most probably paypal; PLEASE register yourself to one or more of these websites to see how the back-end works especially with the payments (even if you make a pledge you can always take it back) IMAGE, LOOK AND FEEL: I would like to inspire trust with an artistic touch; that's why I'd like to have a bright or white background with some touch of color, like on this website for example: [login to view URL] and some of the titles in color orange... maybe other colors lightly used could be blue turquoise and light green. I don't like the color beige header, and header takes too much space [login to view URL]: I like the clarity of the menu and fonts in general... I don't like the large, black header and graphism (too heavy) [login to view URL]: I like especially the header and the colorful (google kind) logo... I would like to have sub-menus showing up when somebody mouse over the links at the top (to show the different categories of projects for example) and I definitely don't like the color scheme (especially the black top)
