Hi, I am looking for a single freelancer, NOT a team. Attached is the design jpg for the theme we need for our client. This is a very simple theme development project. Mostly announcing it to discover our next long term partner for lots of wordpress development projects. Please see the design and quote considering that the small thumbnails below the big image are sliding page links. When hovered they'll have page title (and maybe small description) and clicked they'll take visitor to that page. That's all needed to be added. We want NOTHING to be hardcoded. If something can be assigned somewhere, it should be through a theme options page. Start your PM or message with "I know Wordpress" so I know you are not a copy paste spammer. Also do not list your previous projects or your typical message. Just tell me how you will do the sliding pages part, which plugin or jquery script you'll use. I am a wordpress developer myself too so it'd be better if you write in technical language instead of general statements. Thank you.

I know Wordpress Considering all your requirements, for the slider there are several Wordpress plugins that can be used. I have used already Smooth Slider, although it is no longer compatible with Wordpress 3.2.1. The one good compatible plugin for this is Content Slider by Slide Deck. It really creates a slideshow, which I believe is what you want. However, you want some "hover" effects. I'm not sure that will be possible with just the plugin. I will probably have to make some code changes on the plugin for that. Plugins are coded by regular humans like us, so they are typically easy to change and adapt. I have done it before. If you want we can talk further more and I can tell you about my Wordpress experience. I put 7 days for the job because I don't know how much will the plugin have to be changed and how the code is, and I want to have time to deliver quality work.
