We would like to be able to take a URL, scale the contents corresponding to this URL and display scaled contents within a DIV. The DIV's width might be 1/7 or so of full browser window. It has to happen in real time, with imperceptible delay. The scaling needs to preserve the webpage aspect ratio, so that the width is fitted to the DIV and the DIV's height is stretched to accommodate the webpage. All parts of the webpage should be visible, no scroll bars on the DIV, and no empty margins. Obviously browsers like Chrome can scale webpages.
If you think you have a solution, tell us how you would approach in a PM.
We believe CSS3 and HTML5 can be used to get this done, we can point the curious to a webpage with some info.
Message to those who bid without reading project descriptions: Any bids that exceed our budget will be ignored. Any bidders who cannot tell us how they would approach the problem will not be chosen. Any bidders requesting partial milestones will be ignored. It is a "No cure, no pay" fixed price project. This is not grammar school, partial credit will
NOT be given.
If you know your stuff, it should be an easy and quick job. If you are a noob it will probably be difficult and long.
We do not want it to be difficult and long.
Giving us a list of websites to prove your experience is useless to us, we cannot verify any of it.
Hi,
If what you want is a responsive website I can do it for you.
You will can see your website in a smart phone, tablet or full browser.
CSS3 and HTML5 and javascript are the tools to make it works.
Thanks,
William
