We are going use Port 25’s Power MTA (PMTA) as the MTA for our email system. I need some help finishing off our email system, specifically getting PHP to inject the emails in to PMTA. I have the system started to where it pulls the data from my MySQL database but I can’t get it to go through PMTA.
I would like to use PHPmailer and PowerMTA so that I can send both text and HTML emails in bulk. So I need someone to finish off our system and get it working right.
I need the system to pull the email list, email creative (text or HTML), send from URL and name, and a range of VMTA’s to send from. I want the system to randomly select the VMTA (and associated IP address) to send from to help with deliverability issues and I want the system to be able to either send the emails without delay or specify a delay time between emails (usleep possibly, again to help with deliverability issues).
Like I said I have rudimentary system built but it is not injecting the emails to PMTA nor does it send HTML emails. So I was thinking of rewriting the code to use PHPmailer so that I could send HTML emails as well. So this may just be as simple as a PMTA expert cleaning up the code and making a few changes to get PMTA to actually send the emails.
