This is a two-part project.
First, I need someone that can do HTML parsing. I want to scrape a particular website to compile a list of addresses and other various info. There are going to be approximately 10,000 addresses. The addresses are going to change periodically so something turnkey needs to be put in place so I can execute something and update the addresses myself.
Second, I need someone familiar with Google Maps that can plot the scraped addresses and display specific ones based on user-supplied criteria (radius from a specific address, number of closest addresses, etc). I want additional information displayed when the user mouseovers one of the map pushpins, as well as a more detailed list of results underneath the map.
The ideal candidate will be able to provide examples of previous work involving Google Maps. I'm open to suggestions on what will be required back-end wise to achieve this result - I'm looking for clean, simple and fast.
