Compilation of C program in Visual Studio

We have a homework about implementing an algorithm named fast hough transform. We have found the code from Gandalf library but we couldnt compile it on visual Studio since we are very new. What we need is to have the code compiled so that we will make a small modification on it and present it to the instructor. What is to be done is: The main code we need is fast_hough_transform.c (gandalf/vision/fast_hough_transform.c)? and the function we will use is gan_fast_hough_transform included in it. All the required .h and .c failes are in the zip file. Also there is an install file in the zip file which explains what should be done before installing the gandalf library. If you compile the code and give it to us as ready for modification, we will probably request a second work from you again for modification also (as another bid). Estimated prüce is around 100$.
